"The St. Louis Alumnae Club was originally organized in September 1914, and struggled along for several years until loss of members forced it to become inactive. After Alpha Zeta chapter was established at Washington University, the club was reorganized and received its charter as Sigma Sigma in 1925. On March 4, during the sessions of the Central Province convention held in St. Louis, the chapter was installed by Bonnidell Sisson Roberts, Omicron, National Vice-President."
